The recently concluded World Series of Poker Tour (WSOPC) series, the first WSOP event ever held in Texas, promised at least $2.1 million in prize money across 18 gold ring events.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When registration closed for the final tournament of the series, the total prize money awarded at TCH Social in Austin was almost four times that amount.
