Texas Hold'em has turned a new page in history! The inaugural WSOP Circuit Series concluded successfully at Austin's TCH Social, with 18 gold ring events attracting 11,545 entries and generating a total prize pool exceeding $7 million, setting a new record for the largest series in Texas Hold'em history.<\/figcaption><\/figure>


How popular is poker in Texas? The recently concluded World Series of Poker Tour (WSOPC) series, the first WSOP event ever held in Texas, promised at least $2.1 million in prize money across 18 gold ring events.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

When registration closed for the final tournament of the series, the total prize money awarded at TCH Social in Austin was almost four times that amount. Texas Card House, one of its six poker clubs across the state, attempted an unprecedented feat\u2014hosting a WSOP-branded series in the "Lone Star State."<\/span><\/p>

The final results showed that the 18 tournaments attracted a total of 11,545 participants, and awards were presented.\u00a0$7,167,245<\/strong>\u00a0With a prize pool of 641 entries per event on average, this was the largest series in Texas Hold'em history and broke a major state record.<\/span><\/p>

According to The Hendon Mob, Brabham's previous live tournament winnings were only $57,000. He defeated David Mzareulov in heads-up play on May 4th to win the gold ring.
