According to a report by the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Tuesday, Ye Shen, a Chinese national known as "Tony Mars," has been charged in Nevada with one count of "issuing an underpaid check" and one count of "stealing $100,000 or more" for allegedly issuing two bad checks totaling $300,000 at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel.<\/span><\/p>
According to the Daily Review, Shen was charged in March and detained at Clark County Detention Centre on May 14. He has since been released.<\/span><\/p>

In December 2023, PokerNews obtained and released a recorded phone conversation between Fei and Shen. In the recording, Fei accused Le of cheating in a private poker game in Southern California, winning over $3 million. Shen subsequently issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations and questioning Fei's character.<\/span><\/p>
Shen had hinted during the call that he would return to China, but he appears to have ended up in Las Vegas and gotten himself into trouble.<\/span><\/p>
According to a criminal complaint reviewed by The Comment, the checks that Shen allegedly cashed were opened in December 2024.<\/span><\/p>
