Michael Casella from Los Angeles, USA, fought his way through the Event #8:$1,500 Badugi event and finally won his first WSOP gold bracelet, along with a first-place prize of $141,963.<\/span><\/p>\n

He revealed after the match that he told himself the night before that if his final opponents were Scott Seiver, Nick Schulman, and Yuri Dzivielevski, he would defeat them all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although Yuri Dzivielevski failed to reach the final table, Casela did indeed fulfill most of his predictions.<\/span><\/p>\n
