The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) will crown another heavyweight champion.<\/span><\/p>

Event #18, one of the most popular major events in this year's tournament:$1,500 Monster Stack<\/strong>In the tournament, American professional poker player Richard Alsup emerged victorious from a record field of 11,933 players, ultimately winning the championship, a $1,302,125 jackpot, and his second WSOP gold bracelet.<\/span><\/p>

This victory not only broke Alsup's personal record for highest prize money, but also officially made him a WSOP double bracelet winner.<\/span><\/p>

Monster Stack sets a new record<\/h2>

Monster Stack has consistently been one of the most popular low-to-mid-buy events in the WSOP.<\/span><\/p>

After restructuring in 2026, the tournament allowed participants one re-entry opportunity in each starting category, ultimately attracting 11,933 entries and creating a total prize pool of over US$15.8 million, once again breaking the tournament's historical record.<\/span><\/p>
