Ren Lin leads the first round of the $100,000 High Roller Tournament<\/h2>

Day 16 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) featured several key events, with Event #36 undoubtedly being the most anticipated.$100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em<\/strong>\u3002<\/span><\/p>

This top-tier high roller event, with a buy-in of up to $100,000, attracted 67 entries. After 10 levels of intense competition, only 31 players successfully advanced to the second round, with Chinese high-stakes champion Ren Lin leading the pack with 3,175,000 chips.<\/span><\/p>

Ren Lin has accumulated over $19.6 million in live tournament winnings, but has yet to win a WSOP gold bracelet. He has previously finished as WSOP runner-up three times and now has another excellent opportunity to win his first title.<\/span><\/p>

High Roller Series Star-Studded<\/h2>

As one of the most expensive events in this year's WSOP, the $100,000 High Roller event naturally attracted many of the world's top professional poker players.<\/span><\/p>

In addition, superstars including Alex Foxen, Bryn Kenney, Stephen Chidwick, and Daniel Negreanu also advanced to the second round.<\/span><\/p>

Suvarna wins his third WSOP gold bracelet.<\/h2>

Besides the High Roller event, another major focus on Day 16 was on Indian high-stakes player Santhosh Suvarna.<\/span><\/p>

Suvarna successfully won Event #29:$50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em<\/strong>He won the championship, taking home $1,992,870 in prize money and his third WSOP gold bracelet.<\/span><\/p>

It's worth noting that Suvarna's last three gold bracelets all came from ultra-high buy-in tournaments:<\/span><\/p>
