Jared Bleznick, who has appeared on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) live, has been criticized by some poker fans for his comments on the Senior High Roller event during Monday's broadcast.<\/span><\/p>

The sports card entrepreneur and founder of Blez Sports made it clear in the comments section that he was quite unhappy with the broadcast schedule that switched the camera focus from the $250,000 Super High Roller to the Senior High Roller.<\/span><\/p>

This year's WSOP daily broadcasts primarily focused on single events, but occasionally switched to show other bracelet events. Bleznick, a distinctive commentator and seasoned high-stakes player, seemed less than enthusiastic about the extra broadcast content on Mondays.<\/span><\/p>

"I don't care": Blez's elder-like remarks spark debate<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>
Bleznick's frustration erupted during Monday night's broadcast\u2014while the $5,000 Senior High Roller was in its final day, and the $250,000 Super High Roller was a three-way match on the live stream table.<\/span><\/p>
He turned to fellow commentator Ali Nejad and said, "Ali, I can't take it anymore... I'm not watching senior tournaments when we're having a three-way battle for $4 million. Pull me out of the senior tournament, Ali, pull me out of here, folks!"<\/span><\/p>
Bleznick then emphasized, adding, "All 25,000 to 30,000 spectators aren't here for seniors. I'm not sitting next to you\u2014you're one of the greatest commentators of all time\u2014I'm not sitting next to you for seniors, Ali."<\/span><\/p>
Nejad, one of the main commentators for this summer's WSOP broadcast, tried to steer the conversation back to the tournament by highlighting an interesting hand developing at a secondary table. But Bleznick bluntly replied, "I'll say it again, I don't care!" Nejad responded, "Please! That's not fair!"<\/span><\/p>

The poker community reacted quickly to Bleznick's polarized comments, with many taking to the X platform to criticize the once-WSOP bracelet winner's harsh assessment of the Senior High Roller event.<\/span><\/p>
Aaron Barone, co-host of the 888poker Main Event, said he believes Bleznick \u201cused the broadcast as a tool to publicly disparage another event\u2026 poor taste.\u201d<\/span><\/p>
At the same time, Lee Bradbury questioned whether the commentator's attitude would discourage newcomers from entering the poker game.<\/span><\/p>
Commentator Mz Rosenberg accused Bleznick of "throwing a tantrum" and offered his own Czech-inspired solution.<\/span><\/p>
However, the reaction to Bleznick's comments was not entirely negative\u2014in fact, quite the opposite, many people came forward to defend him.<\/span><\/p>
WSOP bracelet winner and two-time WSOP Circuit champion Rob Kuhn said, "You could say Bleznick is probably the greatest commentator of all time."<\/span><\/p>
One commentator largely agreed with Kuhn's assessment, calling Bleznick's performance "a parody of the modern commentator," while calling him "the greatest commentator on earth, and by a huge margin"...<\/span><\/p>

Bleznick is a high-stakes player; he won the $50,000 High Roller event at the 2024 WSOP, earning 2,037,947 in prize money. Therefore, mid-stakes events aren't really his cup of tea. However, judging from some tweets, these lower buy-in events clearly have their own audience, and it's not just for ultra-high-stakes events.<\/span><\/p>
