Chen Mingcong defeated 172 players to claim the title in the $30,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em High Stakes event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Triton Jeju produces another million-dollar champion<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju continues its heated run, producing another seven-figure winner. The $30,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em 8-Max High Roller event attracted 172 entries, building a prize pool of $5,160,000 and producing the series' third million-dollar winner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chen Mingcong from Wuhan, China, ultimately emerged victorious, winning his first Triton Championship trophy and a record-breaking $1,143,000 in prize money.<\/span><\/p>\n

It's worth noting that this is only the 32-year-old player's fifth time cashing in the Triton Series. His previous best result was 23rd place in the recent Triton Jeju $8,000 Main Event, with a prize of $51,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the match, Chen said:<\/span>
"I really can't put my words into words right now; it all happened so suddenly. I'm so happy, so excited, and so deeply moved."<\/span><\/p>\n

Tang's current total winnings in the Triton Series are close to $24.7 million USD, approximately two-thirds of his total career earnings of $36.7 million USD.<\/span><\/p>\n
