Joey Couden once again tops the WSOP stage<\/h2>

Another champion will be crowned at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP).<\/span><\/p>

In Event #52:$3,000 Nine Game Mix<\/strong>In the tournament, American professional poker player Joey Couden successfully defeated a field of 472 players to win the championship, taking home a prize of $184,862 and his third WSOP gold bracelet.<\/span><\/p>

Even more noteworthy is his successful thwarting of Shaun Deeb's pursuit of his ninth career gold bracelet at the final table, making him one of the most anticipated mixed game champions of this year's WSOP.<\/span><\/p>

Deeb entered the final day with a huge advantage.<\/h2>

Before the final day, Shaun Deeb was almost universally favored by the outside world.<\/span><\/p>

The eight-time WSOP bracelet winner had accumulated over 3.5 million chips by the end of Day 2, more than double the number in second place, making him the most dominant player on the field.<\/span><\/p>
