Stop smoking blindly! What is Outs? Texas Holdem draw allows you to calculate the winning rate in 3 seconds

In Texas Hold'em, Outs (Way out) is the first threshold for players to transform from betting on luck to playing mathematics. If you don't know how many Outs you have, you are just pumping and sending money.

What is Outs (way out)?
The definition of Outs is very simple: in your next deal, you can make your card power overtake your opponent, or directly make up the number of supplementary cards for strong cards.
Knowing the number of Outs, you can quickly calculate your Equity (winning rate), and then determine whether the current pot odds (Pot Odds) are worth your chips.

Core weapon: 3 seconds mental arithmetic 2 and 4 rules

This is an intuitive reaction that every Texas Hold'em player must internalize, allowing you to calculate the winning rate in actual combat without a computer.:
–Arrive at the river card after the flop (there are still 2 cards to be dealt): Outs x 4 总 Total winning rate (%)
–Just look at the next card (to the turn, or to the river card): Outs x 2机率 The probability of completing the next card (%)

Practical examples:
If you have a flush draw (9 outs) on the flop, the probability of completing the turn to the river circle is about 9 x 4 = 36%; if you only look at the next turn, the probability is about 9 x 2 = 18%.

Commonly used Outs quick look-up table (must-have list for hunters)
1. Straight Draws (Straight Draws)
–Two ends in order (OESD): one of the two ends of the difference is completed (such as hand 89, hole card 67x). [8 Outs]
–Card sequence (Gutshot / Inner sequence): One card in the middle is completed (such as hand 89, hole card 6Tx). [4 Outs]
–Double Gutshot: Extremely concealed (such as hand 8J, hole card 79Q). [8 Outs]

2. Flush Draws (Flush Draws)
–Flush draw: Four flush cards are in hand, and one is missing to make up for it. [9 Outs]
–Powerful combination draw (Combo Draw): For example, flush draw + two-end order. [15 Outs]

3. Brand power upgrade (Improvement)
–Three sets of pocket pairs (Set): If the flop is not successful, there are three sets of turn cards or river cards. [2 Outs]
–Make up the top pair: For example, if you take Ax and there is no A in the flop, you want to make up A. [Usually 3 Outs]
–Two pairs of gourds: there are 2 points left for each of the two points. [4 Outs]
–Three fighting gourds or four: depending on whether there are duplicate points on the deck. [About 7-10 Outs]

Hunter Advanced: Distinguish between clean Outs and Pseudo Outs
This is a watershed between novices and hunters. Not all Outs are safe. Although some replenishment cards make you stronger, they will make your opponent stronger.
1. Clean Outs (Clean Outs):
After you make up for it, you are almost sure it is Nuts, so you can harvest the pot with confidence.
2. Pseudo Outs (Dirty Outs):
–Example: While you are chasing Shunzi, there are two flush cards on the deck. If the shunzi you make up happens to be the card of that suit, you may hit your opponent's flush.
–Strategy adjustment: In the face of unclean Outs, the calculation should be automatically discounted. For example, 8 Outs are only counted as 6 in order to maintain the rigor of decision-making.

The next step after learning Outs?
Outs is just a tool, not an end. After calculating the winning percentage, you must combine it with the pot Odds:
–If the winning rate > cost ratio-> + EV (long-term profit), call decisively!
–If the winning rate -EV (long-term loss), unless there are implied odds, the card will fold decisively.
