Originally from Thailand, Nopparut Piyatassakorn represents the new wave of Thai poker talent making waves internationally. He has quickly climbed the ranks to sit at #14 on the Thailand All Time Money List and is a top-10 contender in the country’s Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings. He is a regular fixture at major Asian festivals, including the Asian Poker Tour (APT) and Triton Series, frequently traveling to hubs like Taipei, Jeju, and Vietnam to compete in both Main Events and High Roller side events.

Nopparut Piyatassakorn is known for his versatility and high volume. He actively competes in a wide range of buy-ins, from standard APT side events to Triton High Rollers. His consistent deep runs in massive fields – like the APT Taipei Main Event – demonstrate strong tournament fundamentals and patience, while his High Roller final tables show he is comfortable playing aggressively against elite competition.

With over $300,000 in total live earnings, Piyatassakorn is enjoying a breakout year in 2025, having accumulated the majority of his career winnings in the last 12 months. He achieved a significant career milestone at the APT Championship Taipei 2025 (November 2025), where he captured his maiden APT title. He defeated a field of 167 entries in the NL Hold’em Single Re-Entry (Event #144) to win the trophy and TWD 747,900 (~$24,188). During the same festival, he also made a deep run in the record-breaking Main Event, finishing 23rd for TWD 635,500 (~$20,000). His resume also includes success on the elite Triton Poker Series . At the 2025 Triton One Jeju, he finished 3rd in the $5k One Night NLH event for $31,000, proving his ability to compete against high-stakes regulars. According to The Hendon Mob, his career-best live cash stands at $84,661, which he earned in the APT Hanoi Billions, Vietnam 2023, for his 3rd-place finish in the APT Main Event.
