In just about two years, he has already broken into the top 65 players on the Vietnam All Time Money List, which is a very impressive jump for someone so new to the circuit. Most of his success has come from playing in Hanoi and Phu Quoc, where he focuses on high buy-in events. He is often seen competing in “Super Stars” and “High Roller” tournaments, proving that he is comfortable playing for big stakes. Thanh Nghia Pham is best known for his aggressive and calculated approach to the game. He seems to specialize in No Limit Hold’em formats with smaller, more elite fields, such as 6-max and high roller events. In late 2024, he won the High Roller Club Challenge in Hanoi for $18,618 and later finished 4th in the USOP Hai Phong High Roller 6-Max for $22,223. He has also cashed in major APT events, including a 3rd place finish in the Baby Superstar Challenge at APT Phu Quoc for $26,052.
