Yujian Eugene Zhou 🇸🇬

Originally from and residing in Singapore, Eugene Zhou is a familiar face at major Asian festivals, including the Asian Poker Tour (APT) , Poker Dream , and USOP . While he grinds the regional circuit in Taiwan, Malaysia, and South Korea year-round, his breakout performance in Las Vegas proved his ability to compete in the world’s largest fields. His runner-up finish in the Colossus – one of the largest live poker tournaments in history – solidified his reputation as a player with exceptional stamina and field-navigation skills.

Zhou is known for his high volume and adaptability. He successfully transitions between massive field No Limit Hold’em tournaments (like the Colossus) and specialized formats like Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) and Mystery Bounty events. His recent results highlight a strategy focused on aggression in turbo structures and deep-stack maneuvering in championship events.

With over $650,000 in total live earnings, Eugene Zhou is quickly climbing the ranks of the Singapore All Time Money List (according to The Hendon Mob). His most significant career achievement came at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, where he navigated a gigantic field of over 19,000 entries in the $400 Colossus event. He finished as the runner-up, securing a career-best score of $325,640. In Asia, Zhou is a consistent trophy hunter. In November 2025, he captured the APT Teams Championship title in Taipei alongside partner Ming Ken Thoo.
