Jie Zheng represents China and has been building his live tournament resume since early 2024. While many players take years to find their footing, Zheng hit the ground running with deep runs in some of the most competitive fields in Asia. He spends a lot of his time traveling to popular poker hubs like Jeju Island, Hanoi, and Taipei, which have become his primary hunting grounds for major titles. In just a couple of years, Zheng has recorded over 60 cashes, showing that he is a very active player who puts in a lot of volume. He has managed to climb into the top 300 of the China All Time Money List, a fast rise for someone who only recently started showing up on the global radar. He often competes in “Zodiac” themed events and is a frequent participant in the ZSOP .

Jie Zheng is known for an aggressive and fearless approach to the game. He seems most comfortable in No Limit Hold’em tournaments, especially those with fast structures or high buy-ins where quick decision-making is key. His win in the Turbo High Roller in Incheon and his deep run in the RPT Monster Stack are perfect examples of his ability to navigate high-pressure situations and outlast skilled fields. His strategy involves calculated risks. Zheng is not afraid to put his chips in the middle to put pressure on his opponents, which often helps him build the big stacks needed to reach final tables. Whether he is playing a USOP event or a WPT event, he focuses on staying active and exploiting the tendencies of his table mates.

According to The Hendon Mob, Jie Zheng has total live earnings of over $322,000. His biggest single score happened in August 2025 at the APT Incheon in South Korea. He finished 3rd in the Zodiac Classic event for a career-best $65,572. Just a few days before that big score, he also won a title at the same series, taking first place in the Turbo High Roller for $20,011. Zheng has continued his strong momentum into 2026, recently putting up impressive results at the RPT Championship II. During this series, he secured a 4th place finish in the Monster Stack for $8,845 and a 6th place finish in the RPT Thank You event for $3,040. He also showed his consistency by cashing in the Main Event, the Mini Main Event, and the Saturday King, adding more than $16,000 to his career total in a single series.
