Originally from Mumbai, India, where he still resides, the 32-year-old Nishant Sharma began his poker journey playing online on the Zynga Poker app. He transitioned to live tournament play in 2017, winning his first title in his debut year at the Macau Poker Cup 27. Known by his online moniker “DoJingBULLETS,” he built a massive reputation in India’s online circuit before becoming a permanent fixture on the global live stage. He currently serves as a brand ambassador for the Indian platform Gamezy Poker.

Nishant Sharma is known for a relentless and commanding tournament strategy, often described as having an elite ability to dominate final tables. During his APT Championship win, he entered the final table with a massive 152 big blind stack and remained in pole position from start to finish, demonstrating expert stack management against a field of decorated professionals. His background as a high-volume online grinder has provided him with the technical foundation to navigate both large-field freezeouts and high-stakes “Super High Roller” environments with a high degree of ICM awareness.

With over $2,871,000 in total live earnings, Nishant Sharma currently ranks 5th on the India All Time Money List. According to The Hendon Mob, his career-best live cash of TWD 37,030,773 (~$1,181,559) was achieved in the Main Event at APT Championship 2025 in Taipei. By winning this record-breaking $10,000 buy-in freezeout, he became only the third Indian player in history to secure a single score exceeding $1 million. Before his historic APT victory, Sharma gained international recognition for a deep run in the 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, where he finished 34th for $230,475. His 2025 season was particularly prolific, as he also recorded deep runs at the WSOP in Las Vegas, including a 280th place finish in the Main Event for $52,500 and a 98th place finish in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship for $20,000.
