Originally from Taiwan, Chang began his tournament career in 2018 after a debut appearance years earlier at WPT National China in 2014. After a brief hiatus from the live scene, he returned in 2023 and immediately re-established himself as a top-tier competitor. His consistent success on the regional circuit culminated in him winning the 2024 USOP Player of the Year title at the Grand Finale in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Chang is currently ranked 27th on the Taiwan All Time Money List.

Chang is recognized for his immense versatility and high-volume approach to tournament poker. His ability to cash 11 times in a single series highlights a deep level of endurance and an adaptable strategy that thrives in various formats, from standard No Limit Hold’em to Pot Limit Omaha. Known for being a “veteran-slayer,” he excels in high-stakes fields and pressure-heavy final tables, often leveraging his experience to outmaneuver opponents in major High Roller events.

According to The Hendon Mob, his total earnings stand at $691,545. Chang’s career reached a new peak in 2024 and 2025, marked by a series of dominant performances across Vietnam and Taiwan. His career-best live cash came at the USOP Taiwan 2024, where he took down the High Roller Finale for NTD 2,748,200 ($88,435). He followed this success with a historic run at USOP Da Nang, where he cashed in 11 different events, including a victory in the High Roller Megastack for VND 1,769,500,000 ($71,482). These achievements led to him being crowned the inaugural USOP Player of the Series.
