Wei Kai Lin is a resident of Taiwan and has been actively recording live results since late 2020. He got his start playing in local weekly tournaments in Taipei and Kaohsiung, where he honed his skills in smaller buy-in events. His steady progression from daily deepstacks to major championship final tables shows a dedicated approach to improving his game. Since 2023, Lin has significantly increased his volume, becoming a permanent fixture at the Taiwan Millions Tournament ( TMT ) and other regional series. He is currently ranked 74th on the Taiwan All Time Money List, a position he has reached in a relatively short amount of time. Outside of the poker room, he keeps a low profile, focusing his energy on the competitive circuit in Taiwan and nearby poker hubs like South Korea and Vietnam.

He spent years winning at the lower stakes in Taipei before moving up to the WPT and APT circuits. In his recent deep runs, he has shown a “grinder” mentality, often outlasting more experienced pros by staying focused during the long hours of championship events. His ability to win a ZSOP Head Hunter title also highlights his knack for aggressive, tactical play when bounties are on the line.

According to The Hendon Mob, the combined records for Wei Kai Lin (ID: 795403) and Lin Wei Kai (ID: 1066109) show total live earnings of over $234,000, with a best live cash of $40,484, which he earned by finishing in 4th place in the GOP The Titan Assembly Main Event. His largest triumph came recently in November 2025 at the APT Championship, Taipei 2025 , where he secured the inaugural Mixed Games Championship title. The TWD 70,000 buy-in event became the richest mixed-game event in APT history, and Lin took home the Pewter Lion Trophy and the top prize of TWD 1,146,000 (~$36,672).
