Ebony Kenney started her poker journey in the early 2000s after being introduced to the game by a friend. Before becoming a full-time pro, she had a successful career as a model and makeup artist, but her competitive spirit eventually led her to the poker tables of Florida. She spent years grinding in local cardrooms before breaking out on the national stage. Kenney is also a dedicated mother of two and often speaks about the balance between family life and the professional poker grind. Kenney has also been a consistent performer at the WSOP , where she has recorded dozens of cashes. In 2024, she had a strong run in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Freezeout, finishing 16th for $19,363. She has also found success on the WPT circuit, where she was once named a “One to Watch” early in her career. More recently, in early 2026, she showed her continued dominance by reaching the final table of a PokerStars SCOOP event and taking 2nd place in a $15,000 Triton One High Roller in Jeju for $614,500.
