Based in Singapore, Jun Hao Wu’s poker journey is one of consistent growth through the ranks of Asian live poker. He first began making a name for himself in 2023 with a series of deep runs in Vietnam and South Korea. His breakthrough year in 2025 saw him transition from a regional specialist to a world-class competitor, notably outlasting elite international fields at the Triton series in Jeju. Now ranked within the top 200 of the Global Poker Index (GPI), Wu has successfully established himself as Singapore’s leading representative in high-stakes tournaments outside of legendary pro Kenneth Kee.

His most significant achievement came in September 2025 during the Triton One Jeju series, where he won the High Roller for a career-best $969,000. Wu has also been a dominant force in the Asian Poker Tour (APT) and Poker Dream series. In 2023, he claimed victory in the APT Incheon Superstar Challenge for $134,187. His momentum continued through 2025, where he secured a runner-up finish in the Poker Dream 19 Super High Roller in Malaysia for $126,635 and another victory in the APT Taipei Pot Limit Omaha High Roller for $18,855. He also proved his mettle in Las Vegas during the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), finishing 31st in the Millionaire Maker for $45,080.
