Oprea flopped Q-8, but Gomez made two pair on the turn with his Q-4. The river didn't change anything, and Gomez became the 2026 CNP Winamax Barcelona Main Event champion.
After his victory, Gomez said, "I'm an online Expresso player and rarely participate in live tournaments. I did last year, but it didn't feel very good. So this year, I didn't have high expectations. Reaching such a deep round and seeing myself at the final table was already incredible, and winning the championship left me speechless."
The next stop on the CNP Winamax Tour will be Murcia in late June, followed by Alicante in September, and then the Grand Final in Madrid in mid-November.
