Phil Hellmuth revealed during a PokerGO livestream that his investment team's bid for the expansion of the Las Vegas NBA team is proposed to be named "Las Vegas Stealth," with a valuation of up to $10 billion.
With the NBA heading to Las Vegas, a poker legend may have revealed the name of the soon-to-be-formed team during Saturday's "No Gamble, No Future" livestream on PokerGO.
Poker Hall of Famer and avid investor Phil Hellmuth competed against other top pros, including Shaun Deeb, Alan Keating, Chris Moneymaker, Erick Lindgren, and Tom Dwan, in a high-stakes poker game.
In this 100/100/In a 200-point No-Limit Texas Hold'em game (which includes a unique "reveal" feature that allows players to see one of their opponent's hole cards), Hellmuth revealed some news that Las Vegas sports fans will find interesting.
Poker pros share major news from Las Vegas

Over the past nine years, Las Vegas has welcomed the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights, and the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, becoming one of the top sports cities in the United States. In 2028, the MLB's Oakland Athletics, currently based in Sacramento, will move in, giving Sin City its fourth major professional sports team. Construction on the new stadium began last year on the site of the former Tropical Garden Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
The final piece of the puzzle is the NBA, which is expected to become a reality in the next few years. In March of this year, all 30 owners of the league approved exploring the possibility of expanding their teams in Las Vegas and Seattle. Currently, the ownership and home location of this soon-to-be-established NBA team have not yet been determined. However, Hellmuth revealed on the X platform last week that his friend Jared Kahn is also one of the bidders for Las Vegas's first NBA team.
Hellmuth, a BetRivers casino ambassador, tweeted at the time that he would do his best to help Kahn win the bid. The winner, who owns 17 WSOP gold bracelets, shared further details of their plan on Saturday on the show "No Gamble, No Future".
"If we win and secure the best location, the new team will be named the 'Las Vegas Stealth,'" Hellmuth told his opponents, referring to the name his investment team had chosen.
According to ESPN, the new team is expected to be valued between $7 billion and $10 billion. Potential buyers include Los Angeles Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson and Golden Knights owner Bill Foley.
"It's a good name," Keating said in response to the name "Invisible Team".
Hellmuth did not reveal the specific proposed location for the NBA team, but hinted that he would be able to see it from his new residence on the Las Vegas Strip. The poker legend doubled up his chips early in the "No Gamble, No Future" livestream, but played more conservatively after that big hand, drawing criticism from his friend and new NGNF commentator, Nick Wright.
