In episode 24 of "Hellmuth's Home Game," Phil Hellmuth folded after thinking for over eight minutes in three different situations, and even knocked his phone away because of Matusow's live stream. Hellmuth ultimately won big with $24,600.
Every Monday night, "Hellmuth's Home Game," produced by Poker Night in America (PNIA) and sponsored by BetRivers, airs on CBS Sports.
This nationally broadcast show was filmed at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. What makes it unique is that it has no commentary whatsoever; instead, it features conversations between Phil Hellmuth and a group of professional poker friends in a private, relaxed cash game setting.

The game uses 25/50 blinds, plus a $50 ante blind. Here are some key hands from this episode.
Hellmuth's good luck 7
On hand 86, Hellmuth received 7♣7♠ and raised to $200. Mike “The Mouth” Matusow called with 9♥8♦ on the next player, Kelly Lucas called with 6♠6♦ from the shutout, and Phillip “P3” Hellmuth III called with J♥10♥ from the button.
Rob called from the small blind with K♣J♣, and all five players entered the flop with 3♠7♥Q♣. Everyone checked. On the turn, the 3♣, Rob checked his flush draw, and Hellmuth bet $300 with his full house. Matusow folded, Kelly called, P3 folded, and Rob called, seeing the 2♣ on the river.
Rob completed his flush, but it was useless; he went first in the betting. 800. Hellmuth added toKelly folded to 3,000, and Rob called, only to watch helplessly as the pot of $8,000 was pushed to the 17-time bracelet winner.
Long deliberation of more than 8 minutes
In the next hand, Hellmuth flopped to $100, and the action went all the way to Randy “3Coin” Sadler in the small blind. He called with J♣8♦, Kane Kalas called in the big blind with Q♦4♦, and Hellmuth checked his flopping option with 6♥4♥.
The flop came J♠8♥6♠, 3Coin led with top two pair betting. Kalas folded to 300, and Hellmuth called with bottom pair. The turn card, a 6♦, gave Hellmuth trips, and he bet again with 3 coins.After 300, he increased his bet. 900. The latter immediately bet all of them.At 12,950, Hellmuth entered a long period of contemplation.
At that moment, Matusow pulled out his phone and started live-streaming, which enraged Hellmuth so much that he knocked the phone out of his friend's hand. This was a viral moment at the time, and it is now being broadcast on national television.
After thinking for over eight minutes, Hellmuth finally folded his set, surprising Matusow and the others. 3Coin revealed his hand (actually the worst), and they engaged in a "rabbit hunt" (looking at the subsequent cards), with the river being a K♥. If Hellmuth had called, he would have won the pot, but instead, 3Coin took it all.
“He wasn’t bluffing. He had top two pair. He thought he had the best hand,” Hellmuth explained.
Matusow vs Rob
In hand 91, Rob, in the under-the-gun position, received 9♦9♣ and raised to [number missing]. 250. The action folds to Matusow on the button, who raises three times with A♠A♥.600. The blinds all folded, Rob went all in with $3,350, and Matusow instantly called.
“Okay, I need a bit of luck,” Rob said. They agreed to deal two cards, but the first board of Q♣10♦4♣4♠K♦ didn’t help Rob. The second board of 3♣K♥10♣K♣2♦ also missed him, and Matusow won the pot of $6,825.
Another pair of "Big Mouth" A
Matusow raised from the gun position with A♦A♣ at the start. 200. Phillip “P3” HellmuthIII then triple-raised with K♥K♦ in the hijack position.With 600, and only $1,975 left behind him, a collision was inevitable.
The action folded back to Matusow, who went all-in. P3 called, creating a pot of $5,275. Both players agreed to deal two cards, but P3 missed on both the first (3♠7♣6♥2♣8♥) and the second (9♥J♥J♦9♦J♠) boards.
The last hand went to Hellmuth
In the final hand of this episode, Hellmuth, in the hijack position, received A♥J♣ and raised to [number missing]. 200. Rob then triple-raised from the small blind with K♥K♣ to 200.Hellmuth called with 500, creating a heads-up situation. The flop came A♦A♠8♦.
Rob checked and called. I bet 500, then checked and called again on the turn with the 4♦.800. The river card 3♦ brought the board to four diamonds. Both players checked, and Hellmuth won the pot of $3,700.
