Calvin Anderson advanced to Day 2 of the 2026 WSOP $10,000 Razz Championship as the scoreboard leader.

The WSOP reached another climax on day 21.

The 21st day of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to be a vibrant and exciting event in Las Vegas.

Three gold bracelets were awarded that day, and several championship matches entered their crucial stages. One of the most anticipated events was undoubtedly Event #48:$10,000 Razz Championship

Five-time WSOP bracelet winner Calvin Anderson topped the scoreboard after the first day of competition, aiming for his second Razz title and sixth WSOP bracelet.

Calvin Anderson is leading the Razz Championship.

The $10,000 Razz Championship attracted 118 participants on its first day. After fierce competition across 10 weight classes, only 54 players successfully advanced to the second day of the competition, and deferred registration will remain open until Day 2.

Calvin Anderson leads the leaderboard with 343,500 chips, making him the current favorite to win the championship.

It's worth mentioning that Anderson won the WSOP $10,000 Razz Championship in 2018, earning $309,220 in prize money and his second gold bracelet. Now, eight years later, he has the opportunity to be crowned King of Razz again.

A star-studded lineup followed closely behind.

Although Anderson is currently in the lead, the competitors behind him are equally formidable.

The top-ranked players currently include:

In addition, well-known players such as Chris Brewer, John Monnette, Jesse Lonis, Chad Eveslage, Chris Hunichen, Eli Elezra, Scott Seiver, and Robert Mizrachi are still in the competition.

This makes this year's Razz Championship one of the most competitive events in the mixed game genre this year.

Mateos sets a new record

Aside from the Razz Championship, the biggest news of the 21st match day came from Spanish superstar Adrián Mateos.

In Event #41: $250,000 Super High Roller, Mateos won the championship, taking home $4,334,411 in prize money and his sixth WSOP gold bracelet.

This victory made Mateos, at just 31 years old, the youngest six-time WSOP champion in history.

He was already the youngest person to win three and five titles, and now he has broken the record again.

Juan Rodriguez wins his first career title

Another gold bracelet comes from Event #39: $5,000 Seniors High Roller.

Juan Rodriguez defeated numerous opponents to win his first WSOP gold bracelet and a $673,011 prize.

After the race, Rodriguez said that in the past he participated more to enjoy the competition and collect trophies, but now his biggest motivation is to create a better future for his family and son.

Matthew Moss realizes his WSOP dream

In Event #43:$800 Eight-Handed Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em, British player Matthew Moss emerged victorious from a massive field of 3,903 participants.

This victory not only brought him $318,556 in prize money, but also earned him his first WSOP gold bracelet.

For this British athlete, this is undoubtedly one of the most important achievements of his career.

COLOSSUS and Big O Championship Match Enters Key Stage

In addition to the tournaments that have already crowned champions, many other major sporting events have entered a heated phase.

In Event #34:$500 COLOSSUS, Yuefan Wang entered the final nine-player table as the chip leader.

In Event #42: $10,000 Big O Championship, Daniel Aharoni gained a clear advantage and made a final push for the gold bracelet.

Both events will determine the final champion on the following day of competition.

Can Calvin Anderson dominate Razz once again?

Calvin Anderson has always been one of the most respected players among hybrid gamers.

He currently holds five WSOP gold bracelets and won the tournament in 2018. Now, he enters Day 2 as the scoreboard leader once again.

If he can maintain his advantage throughout, he will have a chance to complete:

  • Second Razz Championship
  • Article 6 WSOP Gold Bracelet
  • He has once again proven himself to be one of the most well-rounded hybrid game masters today.

As the tournament enters a more intense phase, this Razz Championship is bound to become one of the most anticipated events of the WSOP in the coming days.
