PokerStars Jet Set Season returned on June 6th, with dozens of events already crowned, including three tournaments boasting six-figure prize pools. The more affordable Jet Set Season events have proven popular with the online poker giant's customers, evidenced by the $55 No-Limit Hold'em Jet Set Getaway and the $33 No-Limit Hold'em PKO Season Opener, which broke the guaranteed prize pool with $62,450 and $30,050 respectively.
To date, the tournament with the largest prize pool in the series is Episode 07-M: $55 NLHE Jet Set Getaway Mystery Bounty, which attracted 5,249 entries. PokerStars set a guarantee of $200,000 for the prize pool, but it ultimately accumulated to $262,450.
Although Uruguay's "curbelo19" won the event and took home a total prize of $17,045, the fifth-place finisher actually won the most money. The fifth-place finisher originally only received $4,306, but "SSV117" collected a whopping $16,436 in mystery prize money before being eliminated, including a prize exceeding $13,000.
