Kerryjane Craigie continues to drive the development of women's poker.

As a PokerStars Women's Poker Ambassador, Poker Director at Hippodrome Casino in London, and a board member of the Women Poker Association (WPA), Kerryjane Craigie has been dedicated to promoting female player participation in the sport of poker for many years.

In a recent interview with PokerNews, she shared her plans for the summer of 2026, including the recently concluded PokerStars Open Namur tour, the upcoming WSOP schedule, and a brand new event plan designed specifically for female players.

Not long ago, Craigie led 20 players from her female poker community to Belgium to participate in the PokerStars Open Namur series.

To give more women the opportunity to participate in large-scale live events, they select participants through monthly Ladies Club events and online qualifying rounds, helping players gain entry to the competition at a lower cost.

Craigie said that this journey was not only a poker tournament, but also an experience of growth and exchange among female players.

Especially during the women's competition, she saw many familiar faces and made many new friends, making the whole event full of joy and cohesion.

Team Hippo once again competes in the WSOP

After concluding his European trip, Craigie will turn his attention to Las Vegas to compete in the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

She revealed that she will once again lead the "Team Hippo" members to the WSOP this year, including five female players who qualified through the qualifying rounds, and they will participate in the WSOP Ladies Championship starting on June 25.

For Craigie, this event is not only a competition, but also one of the most important annual networking events for female gamers worldwide.

The main event buy-in is £300, with a guaranteed prize pool of £20,000.

Craigie stated that the full schedule and more event details will be released in the coming months, and PokerStars also plans to launch related qualifying tournaments to help more female players participate in this event.

The female poker community continues to grow.

In recent years, Craigie has been a key figure in promoting women's poker.
