APT Jeju Station | Main Event Total Attendance Reaches 520: Xiubo Li Leads Day 1A, Jianfeng Sun Takes Runner-Up in Mystery Bounty Event

On September 27, 2026, the APT Jeju series entered its third day of competition, with the core event, the APT Main Event, officially taking place. The Main Event's offline Day 1A, with a buy-in of 2,700,000 KRW and a guaranteed minimum of 2.2 billion KRW, attracted 297 entries, with 96 players ultimately sealing their bags. Combined with the 223 entries from Natural8 OnLive Day 1, the Main Event has now accumulated 520 entries.

Chinese athlete Xiubo Li became the biggest focus of the first offline starting group, with381,000 ScoreboardHe secured the chip lead on Day 1A. Russian player Dmitrii Belikov ranked second with 306,100 chips, while Hong Kong's Timothy Chung ranked third with 300,900 chips.

On the same day, the first iconic Lion Trophy of the APT Jeju event was also awarded in the Super High Roller event. Thai player Teeraphat Rangkatekarn emerged victorious from a field of 99 players, winning the first-place prize of 355,667,500 Korean Won and a ticket to the APT Championship Main Event.

In another Natural8 Mystery Bounty Hunter tournament, Japanese player Daisuke Abiko won the championship, while Chinese player Jianfeng Sun took second place and earned a higher cash reward than the champion thanks to the Heads-Up ICM agreement and elimination bounty.

The APT main event has officially begun, with a guaranteed 2.2 billion Korean won investment forming the core of the series.

The 2026 APT Jeju Main Event will be held from September 27th to October 5th, with buy-ins as follows:

OnLive had 223 participants, with 31 people directly securing the Day 3 prize pool.

In addition to the Day 1 starter group at the Jeju venue, this year's APT main event also features Natural8 OnLive Day 1.

Besides the main event opening, another highlight on September 27th was the purchase of 15,000,000 won worth of APT Super High Rollers.

This event had a minimum guarantee of 500 million Korean won, and ultimately attracted:

1,368,427,500 Korean Won

That's about US$1,021,215.

This also marks the second-highest prize pool in the history of APT Super High Roller in South Korea.

26 players advanced to the final round, with 13 ultimately making it into the prize pool. German player Fabian Gumz became the bubble player, meaning those who made it into the prize pool earned at least 27,780,000 Korean won.

Teeraphat Rangkatekarn entered the final round as the chip leader and maintained his lead throughout.

With the final five players eliminating the defending champion, Rangkatekarn controlled 60% of the scoreboard.

With five players remaining in the match, Rangkatekarn eliminated Abraham Ceesvin, the defending champion of the APT Jeju Main Event.

With the final four players, he had control of the scoreboard with over 601 TP3T.

Calvin Lee then defeated James Mendoza's A3 with an AK, eliminating the latter to fourth place.

At this point, Rangkatekarn still held the vast majority of the scoreboard.

In the three-player table stage, he completed a nut flush with AQs, defeating Christian Harder's AA and eliminating Harder to third place.

Heads-Up led 5-1, but were overtaken before regaining the championship.

Event #28 High Roller Hyper Turbo had 39 participants.

Chinese athlete Shurong Huang successfully reached the summit, achieving:
