DBPT S3 Main Event Group A | 220 players participated, 25 advanced, Xing leads with 888,000 chips.

On August 28th, the DBPT S3 season main event Group A officially kicked off. After only three levels, the number of participants exceeded 100, with more players joining subsequently, including some who had previously participated in the Goddess Team competition. After registration closed, the final number of participants in Group A reached 220.

After completing 11 levels throughout the day, the tournament determined the advancing spots based on a 11% ratio, with a total of 25 players successfully securing their places in the next stage. Xing Ge accumulated 888,000 chips, becoming the chip leader in Main Event Group A with a significant advantage.

In this main event, Group A selected 25 players from 220 participants to advance, with an actual advancement rate of approximately 11.4%.

DBPT S3 Main Event Group A Core Data

AK hit two pairs on the flop but still lost the set; female player becomes the bubble in Group A.

After the main event entered the bubble stage, a rematch will directly determine the final qualifying spots.

One female player held A♥K♣, while her opponent had 3♦3♠.

Although the female player hit two pairs, A and K, her opponent's pocket threes formed a set on the flop, giving her the lead.

The turn card Q♣ and the river card 8♦ had no effect, and AK ultimately failed to reverse the set of threes. This female player was thus eliminated before the cut line, becoming the bubble player in Group A of the DBPT Season 3 Main Event.

On the river, facing an all-in fold, the opponent reveals a straight flush.

Aside from the bubble phase, Group A also saw a rather eye-catching hand in the early stages.

Level 3, blinds 200/400/400. The female player in the HJ position raises pre-flop, Button and BB call, and the three players go to the flop.

After BB checked, HJ bet 5,000, Button called, and BB folded.

After the turn card 6♦ appeared, HJ continued to bet 7,000, Button raised to 12,000, and HJ called.

The river card is 5♥, and HJ bets 12,000, but Button immediately declares all-in. After much deliberation, HJ ultimately folds.

Button then showed 7♦8♦, completing a straight flush of 6♦7♦8♦9♦T♦ on the turn. Although HJ lost a significant number of chips as a result, he successfully avoided a much larger pot loss.

AA faces KK head-on, then an Ace hits on the river.

Level 7, blinds 600/1,200/1,200, another pre-flop large pot resulted in a classic clash between AA and KK.

UTG raised first, CO re-raised, and SB 3-bet. UTG then 4-bet, CO folded, and SB called to the flop.

T♠ 8♣ 7♠

SB went all-in with less than half the pot remaining, and UTG immediately called.

The turn card 7♣ did not change the leader, while the river card A♣ allowed AA to hit three aces, ultimately winning the large pot.

DBPT adjusts blind structure, adds two new fast challenge tournaments.

In addition to the results of the main event Group A, the DBPT S3 has also made adjustments to the event schedule.

The official blind structure has been optimized, and two new fast challenge events have been added on September 1st and 2nd, in the hope of giving players more options for participating and room to readjust the schedule throughout the series.

The series also continues the "repeat advancement" reward mechanism. According to the original rules, there is no limit to the number of chips that can be bagged when advancing for the first time; if a player advances again, they need to have more than 70,000 chips to be eligible for the repeat advancement reward.

Xing Ge set a benchmark of 888,000 chips.

The Main Event Group A was eventually reduced from 220 to 25 players. Xing Ge finished the first Main Event starting group with 888,000 chips, setting a leading benchmark for this year's event.

As the Main Event Starters continue, new players will be added to the next stage. The main focus will then be on whether any player in other groups can surpass 888,000 chips, and whether the 25 players in Group A can maintain their competitiveness in the later stages of the Main Event.
