Huaguan Cup Yiyang Station | Fang Xinyan staged a comeback with 35,000 short chips to win the main event, setting a new record as the tournament's first female champion.

On October 6, 2026, the fourth Huaguan Cup Yiyang National Day Special Tournament held its main event final day. After restarting at 12 noon, the Final Table eliminations were quite rapid, with the Heads-Up championship match taking place at 15:07 in just about 3 hours.

Fang Xinyan emerges victorious, marking the first women's main event champion in the Huaguan Cup.

The final nine players of this year's main event returned to the table on October 6 to compete for the championship.

Xie Zheng, who had previously led the Final Table with 3,235,000 points, ultimately finished third; Jin Jiangpu made it all the way to Heads-Up, but in the end he was unable to stop Fang Xinyan from making a comeback and finished the competition as runner-up.

Huaguan Cup Yiyang Main Tournament Final Table Full Ranking

With only 35,000 chips in the second round, a short stack of 11BB made it all the way to the championship.

Fang Xinyan's path to the championship did not begin with a leading position.

When she advanced to the second round, she only had:

35,000 Scoreboard

At that time, it was equivalent to:

11 Great Blinds

Among the remaining players, this is a significantly shorter code.

However, she was not eliminated early in the second round. Instead, she continued to accumulate chips and eventually made it to the nine-player Final Table, where she advanced all the way to the heads-up championship.

From 11 big blinds to finally lifting the main event championship, this has become the most representative comeback story of this year's Huaguan Cup.

Heads-Up entered the finals in just 3 hours.

At 12 noon on October 6th, the final table for the nine people officially began.

Compared to the previous day when it took 12 hours to narrow down the field from 111 to the final 9, the pace of the final day was significantly faster.

Huang Liang was the first to leave the game in 9th place, followed by Liu Wentao, Shi Gengyun, Liao Gaosheng, and Liu Jun. After Lin Yehao finished in 4th place, only Fang Xinyan, Jin Jiangpu, and Xie Zheng, the chip leader from the previous day, remained in the game.

Xie Zheng ultimately finished in third place, so the championship match was between Fang Xinyan and Jin Jiangpu.

From the start of the competition at 12:00 to the start of the Heads-Up at 15:07, the Final Table was reduced from 9 players to just 2 in about 3 hours.

In the final hand, J6 against A7, Fang Xinyan hit a Jack on the river to complete the comeback.

The champion's final hand occurred in the blinds:

50,000 / 125,000

The two sides will engage in a blind-to-blind (BVB) match.

Fang Xinyan with the long code got it at SB:

J♠6♠

Short code Jin Jiangpu holds on BB:

A♦7♥

Before the cards were revealed, Jin Jiangpu made the first choice:

All-in 2,800,000

Fang Xinyan then called the bet.

Last hand

After the flop and turn, Jin Jiangpu maintained his lead with Ace.

But the river card falls:

J♦

Fang Xinyan hit a J pair to complete the comeback, won the last pot, and officially secured the championship of the main event of this year's Huaguan Cup Yiyang Station.

From 11BB to champion, the Huaguan Cup sets a new record.

Fang Xinyan's victory also rewrote the history of the Huaguan Cup.

From having only 35,000 chips and 11 big blinds in the second round, to surviving all the way to the Final Table, and finally defeating A7 with J6 in the last hand of the Heads-Up, she became the first female player to win the Main Event since the event's inception.

Especially on the final day, she made it through the fast-paced final table and overtook the opponent on the river in her winning hand, ultimately turning her short stack into a champion.

For this year's Yiyang National Day Special Tournament, this record of "first women's main event champion" has become the most important result on the final day of the series.
