The Roughrider Poker Circuit Montana State Poker Championship, with a buy-in of $635, will be held in Montana. May 1st to 3rd The tournament will be held. Preparing for the Montana State Poker Championship
Dan Burcham He is last year's defending champion, who won the $29,000 prize after reaching a heads-up deal with runner-up Andrew Hilleren last year. The current Montana champion defeated a field of 283 entries, setting a new career high for winnings.
The tournament will feature two Day 1 starting classes, the first on May 1st and the second on May 2nd. Successful qualifiers will return to the main event on May 3rd to compete for the championship. Satellite events will be available throughout the weekend for those wishing to participate in the championship at a price below the buy-in.
Players who make it into the prize pool will receive Montana's Player of the Year points, while the champion will receive a bracelet. For players eliminated before the second day, a $250 "Second Chance" tournament will be held at noon on May 3rd.
Less than two weeks after the Montana Poker Championship, the Roughrider Poker Tour will head east to North Dakota for the Bismarck Moose Hut Monster Chip Series, which will run from May 15 to 17.
