Contestant Introduction

Born in Minsk, Belarus, Boyka began his poker career online, where he is best known by the online name "ale6ka." Over the years, he has honed his skills in the virtual world, winning numerous major online tournament titles, including the SCOOP and GGPoker Super MILLION $ championships. He first won a live tournament in Malta 15 years ago, and since then, he has progressed from playing in low-stakes events to competing in tournaments with buy-ins of up to $200,000. Boyka is one of the best of Belarus's new generation of poker players, and his outstanding performance at the 2025 European Poker Tour (EPT) proves that he is still at his peak.

Gameplay Overview

High-value table championship

Boyka is known for his remarkable composure and willingness to make bold, high-risk decisions under pressure. He became a poker legend for one of his most famous "heroic calls" in the EPT Malta finals; in the final hand of the EPT Malta, after several minutes of deliberation, he called his opponent's all-in with only Ace-high, ultimately winning the tournament. He is hailed as a tournament expert, possessing not only a deep mathematical understanding of poker but also the ability to fearlessly analyze his opponents. He is highly respected both online and offline in Super High Roller tournaments for his meticulous approach and ability to manage large fields.
