Weng Qianqi (transliteration), originally from Taiwan and currently residing on Nanjing East Road in Taipei, has transformed from a stable regional player into a formidable professional poker player on the international stage. She is not only a regular participant in renowned Asian tournaments such as the Asian Poker Tour (APT) and the World Poker Tour (WPT Prime), but also possesses extensive international experience, achieving numerous successes in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Her 32nd place finish in the 2022 WSOP Ladies Championship and a top 100 finish in the 2023 Colossus further enhanced her international reputation. Her rapid rise is also reflected in her Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings, where she reached a career-high of 1448th globally in 2025.

Her career-best live tournament winnings were US$50,150, achieved at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP). She performed exceptionally well in the US$800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack event, ultimately finishing 44th out of 4,278 players. 2025 has been particularly active for Weng, with numerous successes in various tournaments. Her recent achievements and best results include winning the APT Taipei Ladies Championship in November 2025, for a prize of US$6,345 (approximately NT$195,992). In November 2025, she finished 6th in the APT Taipei Women's Championship, winning US$888 (NT$27,800); in November 2025, she finished 19th in the Jeju Poker Festival Red Dragon Championship, winning US$8,875 (Korean Won 12,920,000); in November 2025, she finished 25th in the APT Taipei Mini Main Event, winning US$7,230 (NT$225,500); in October 2025, she finished 31st in the Taiwan Millions (TMT) Main Event, winning US$4,735 (NT$146,000); and in August 2025, she finished 43rd in the WPT Prime Taiwan Championship, winning US$6,245 (NT$187,000).
