Daniel Rezaei

Born in Austria and currently residing in Leibniz, Rezaei's poker journey began during his law school years. Initially, he worked as a dealer at a Concord casino, earning €10 per hour. Later, he realized he had a greater passion and talent for poker. He started with daily tournaments worth €30 and quickly rose through the ranks after winning $100,000 in just two months in 2017. A close friend of Austrian legend Matthias Ebinger, Rezaei attributes his success to the strong German-speaking poker community. Since 2023, he has earned at least $1.4 million in winnings annually, rising from a regional player to a regular in the Triton Poker Series, the European Poker Tour (EPT), and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Rezae's total live tournament winnings exceed $11,037,356, making him a giant in the European poker world. His career-high live tournament winnings are $1,900,000, achieved in December 2025 at the WSOP Paradise Casino $50,000 High Roller Turbo event. In that fast-paced tournament, Rezae defeated 151 top players to win his first WSOP bracelet. He continues his impressive form into early 2026, recently finishing 13th in the Onyx High Roller Series $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Opener for $35,000. Other key highlights include winning the 2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series $51,000 tournament for $1,043,530 and finishing third in the 2025 Wynn Summer Championship for $1,181,360.
