Danilo Velasevic was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. He first appeared in live poker around 2017, initially playing in smaller tournaments in Serbia and neighboring countries such as Montenegro and the Czech Republic. Like many of today's top pros, he spent years honing his poker skills and building his bankroll before moving into high-stakes events. His breakthrough came with playing on the European Poker Tour (EPT), where he quickly earned the reputation of a "dangerous opponent." Today, he is the second-highest-earning poker player in Serbian history and a regular in the Triton Poker Series, an event that invites only the best and richest players in the world.

He finished as runner-up in a $50,000 buy-in 8-max No-Limit Hold'em event, winning a whopping $1,289,259. Velasevic has proven his ability to compete with the world's top players on any stage. In the same Montenegrin series, he also finished sixth in a $50,000 buy-in 7-max event, earning $291,000. His resume also includes several other six-figure wins, such as a fifth-place finish at the 2023 European Poker Tour Barcelona for $252,455, and another top-five finish at the Triton London for $214,500.
