Ding Biao from China has transformed from a regional player into a global poker superstar. While he had been active in the poker world for several years, his rapid rise began in 2023 when he won the $30,000 mystery bounty event at Triton in Cyprus, taking home $540,500. Since then, he has become a regular at the final tables of the European Poker Tour (EPT), the World Poker Tour (WPT), and the Asian Poker Tour (APT). His success is also reflected in his Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings, where he reached a career-high 16th place globally in 2025.

Ding Biao is known for his uncompromising, high-pressure game strategy, often hailed as an "all-out attack" expert at the final tables. His victory at the 2025 APT Superstar Challenge was highlighted in live coverage, showcasing his aggressive tactics as he used his chip advantage to defeat world-class players including James Mendoza and Martin Finger. According to Hendon Mob, Ding's career-best live winnings totaled $2,870,000, achieved in March 2024 at the Jeju Triton Poker Super High Roller event, where he finished as runner-up in the $150,000 buy-in 8-max No-Limit Hold'em tournament. 2025 is poised to be a landmark year for Ding, with numerous major tournament wins and consistent top-level performance. His recent victories and records include: winning the $50,000 buy-in 6-max Pot-Limit Omaha event at the Jeju Triton Poker Autumn event in September 2025, for a prize of $880,000; and winning the APT Taipei Superstar Challenge in May 2025, for a prize of $320,710. Ding Biao won the $50,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Max event at the Triton Poker Jeju Spring in March 2024, taking home $1,107,000. He also finished as runner-up in the $100,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event at the Triton Poker Jeju Spring in March 2025, winning $1,610,000.
