Ebony Kenney's poker journey began in the early 2000s when a friend introduced her to the sport. Before becoming a full-time professional poker player, she was a successful model and makeup artist, but her relentless competitive spirit ultimately led her to the poker tables in Florida. She honed her skills in local rooms for years before finally making her mark on the national stage. Kenney is also a devoted mother of two, and she often speaks about finding a balance between family life and her professional poker career. Her journey from low-stakes games to the Triton Series $200,000 buy-in event is considered one of the most inspiring "upgrade" stories in poker history in recent years.

Kenny is known for her aggressive and dynamic playing style. She fearlessly faces the world's best and often uses her powerful presence at the table to disrupt her opponents' rhythm. While she has put in a great deal of hard work in poker, she also relies on intuition and observation of her opponents' subtle movements to make crucial decisions. She finished fifth in the $200,000 buy-in Coin Rivet Invitational, winning a staggering $1.7 million, which remains her career high and one of the highest winnings ever for a female player. Kenney has also excelled at the WSOP (World Series of Poker), cashing dozens of times. In 2024, she performed exceptionally well in the $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Elimination Tournament, finishing 16th for $19,363. She has also achieved success on the WPT (World Poker Tour) circuit and was named a "player to watch" early in her career. Recently, in early 2026, she once again demonstrated her formidable dominance, not only reaching the final table of the PokerStars SCOOP event but also finishing as runner-up in the $15,000 buy-in Triton One High Roller event in Jeju Island, winning $614,500.
