Huu Dung Nguyen 🇻🇳

Huu Dung Nguyen, from Vietnam, is a businessman by profession, but he has become one of Vietnam's most outstanding poker players. He is a member of the Vietnamese national poker team, representing Vietnam in international tournaments such as the Asian Nations Cup. His long-term activity on the circuit—winning important tournaments as early as 2017—demonstrates his enduring competitive spirit and ability to adapt to the increasingly competitive poker environment in Asia.

Nguyen Huu Dung is known for his tenacious will and psychological warfare strategies. He enjoys the psychological challenges of poker and is famous for his comebacks in high-stakes tournaments, such as his victory in an APT event where he started with the fewest chips and fought his way up. His recent move to high-roller events (Triton, APT High Roller) also demonstrates his ability to compete with the world's top players.

According to Hendon Mob, Huu Dung Nguyen's total live poker winnings have exceeded $1.36 million, ranking seventh on the all-time Vietnamese poker money list. His career-high prize was won at the APT Taipei Championship in November 2025. In the inaugural High Roller event, he faced Toby Joyce heads-up, ultimately finishing as runner-up and winning NT$11,935,700 (approximately US$382,555). Nguyen is a two-time APT champion, including the 2017 APT Philippines Championship and another APT side event. He has also achieved considerable success in the Triton Poker Series, notably finishing fifth in the Triton Jeju Mystery Bounty event in 2024, winning $211,000.
