Contestant Introduction

Krix Foxen was born in 1986 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Her poker career began during the online poker boom, when she went by the online name "krissyb24". She amassed a huge fortune through high-frequency play, reaching the "Supernova Elite" level on the PokerStars platform with millions of hands. She then quickly transitioned to live tournaments, winning the 2013 WSOP Women's Championship. In 2017, she embarked on an unprecedented journey, winning the GPI Female Player of the Year award for three consecutive years (2017-2019), a record she aims to extend to five by the end of 2025. She was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2024. She lives in Las Vegas with her husband, fellow high-stakes pro Alex Foxen, and the couple is one of the most successful "celebrity couples" in poker, boasting a combined 12 WSOP bracelets by 2026.

Gameplay Overview

High-value table GTO-oriented Exploitative PLO championship

Foxen is known for her fearless, high-frequency, and theoretically elite playing style. A master of No-Limit Texas Hold'em, she excels at displaying extreme aggression at smaller final tables, even forcing some of the world's top "crushers" into difficult decisions. Her strategies are built on modern game theory optimality (GTO) principles, but she is equally renowned for her highly creative strategies and "mind-reading" abilities—most notably her run to the final table in the 2024 Main Event. She is also an expert in Pot-Limit Omaha, having won a WSOP Online Omaha bracelet. Whether in World Poker Tour (WPT) tournaments or PGT High Roller events, her strategies revolve around a balance of skill and an unwavering competitive drive.
