Shaun Rafael currently resides in Las Vegas, the world's poker capital, but he grew up in the United States and has a natural passion for competition. His biggest single prize came in May 2025 at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, where he finished sixth in the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) event, earning $549,000. Rafael is a European champion, having won a major European Poker Tour (EPT) High Roller title in 2025. He won the €25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the EPT Monte Carlo, earning $430,664. He is also a standout player on the PokerGO Circuit, most recently winning the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller at the NAPT Las Vegas in late 2025, earning $171,700. His consistency is remarkable. In 2025 alone, he reached the final table of several of the toughest Omaha tournaments in history, including a fourth-place finish in the WSOP $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament for $462,451, and a winning number 63,125,563,12,563,5,563 in the WSOP $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.
