Trung Chien Nguyen resides in Vietnam and has been a very active professional since he began recording results in late 2023. He quickly moved from local tournaments to the high stakes circuit, showing a natural talent for the strategic side of the game. Before becoming a full time pro, he developed his skills in the growing Vietnamese poker scene, which has clearly helped him handle the pressure of big buy in events. Since he started his live career, Nguyen has shown remarkable consistency. He is a frequent face at major series held in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, and he has also successfully traveled to compete in South Korea and Cambodia. He is currently ranked 80th on the Vietnam All Time Money List, a position he reached in a very short amount of time. He finished in 2nd place in the High Roller 6-Max event, taking home a career best prize of $46,535. Nguyen has also performed exceptionally well on other major tours. He won a High Roller Warm Up title at the 2024 Vietnam Poker League in Hanoi for $16,021 and secured another victory in the HSOP Grinder Series II High Roller for $15,899. He is also a regular on the APT circuit, where he finished 13th in the Zodiac Classic at APT Phu Quoc. Recently, he has shown his skills on the PokerStars circuit, recording a deep run in the APPT Cambodia Main Event. He has also notched scores in the VPT Championship and the Crown Poker Series.
