The 2026 USOP Ha Long Bay, Vietnam event has officially begun. The series continues to incorporate real-time event data and live streaming systems. Yang Peng finished as runner-up in the Mini High Roller event on the first day.
The 2026 USOP Ha Long Bay, Vietnam event has officially kicked off. On the first day of the series, multiple events took place simultaneously, with the large-scale guaranteed opening event attracting a large number of players. Meanwhile, the USOP continues to utilize its real-time event streaming and data system, further integrating hand information, chip counts, prize money, and table information, marking a significant upgrade to this series.
In terms of tournament results, Chinese player and USOP ambassador Yang Peng made it all the way to the final heads-up in Event #4 Mini High Roller and ultimately won the runner-up title, giving the Chinese team a bright spot on the first day of the series.
USOP's live tournament system continues to be upgraded.
One of the highlights of this Ha Long Bay event is the USOP's continued use of the live streaming system for the event.
In the past, players and spectators often had to obtain tournament information from different channels. Now, all relevant information is centralized in the same system, including current blind levels, real-time tournament updates, complete hands, multi-table live streams, chip leaderboards, prize structure, and table distribution, all of which can be accessed directly through the platform.
The blind structure can be viewed directly online without repeatedly flipping through the tournament manual; the live dynamic page organizes the important hands in the tournament in a timeline format, including key pots, elimination hands, and the battles in larger pots.
Players can be searched and scoreboard changes can be tracked.
Regarding the hand data function, users can directly search for a specific player and view the trend of their personal score changes.
The system will display the player's scoreboard fluctuations as a curve throughout the game, and players can further select specific nodes to view the relevant hand records that caused the scoreboard changes.
In addition, the table tabs allow viewers to watch more than just a single live table. By viewing information from different tables, they can understand the hands happening at multiple tables and review recent pots and full action records.
Scoreboard, number of survivors, and prize money are updated simultaneously.
The scoreboard leaderboard is updated in real time based on the remaining players' scoreboards, and also displays the current number of surviving players, the total number of players, and the blind levels.
After the registration deadline and the total prize pool is officially confirmed, the prize money page will also display complete allocation information; as players are eliminated from the prize pool, their corresponding rankings and prize money will also be updated accordingly.
This system transforms on-site event data from traditional one-way announcements into real-time information that is searchable, traceable, and retrievable, providing a more comprehensive way for participants, media, and spectators to observe the event.
