WPO Heads to Aix-les-Bains! A Six-Day Six-Player Poker Extravaganza and Party is Coming Soon! Winamax Poker Open moves to Aix-les-Bains, hosting six days of six-max tournaments from September 22-27. The €500 Main Event heads the way, followed by High Roller, Mystery Bounty, and Night Turbo tournaments. Off-course parties and satellite tournaments will also be available.

The Winamax Poker Open (WPO) is gearing up for its journey to Aix-les-Bains. From September 22nd to 27th, this six-day 6-max poker tournament, combined with Winamax's signature frenetic atmosphere, will take place.

The Winamax Poker Open Aix-les-Bains will be held at the Casino Grand Cercle, with the €500 WPO Main Event as the core event, but there's much more to the schedule.

In addition to the main event, there are Mystery Bounties, elimination rounds, the €1,000 High Roller, and a series of nighttime sprint events, offering a diverse range of activities.

After all, this is a Winamax extravaganza, and poker is just one part of the glamour. The tables will be surrounded by six days of games, parties, and competitions, including the return of some classic Winamax events.

The €500 WPO Main Event kicks off a six-day poker extravaganza.

The €500 WPO Main Event will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 23, and will consist of four preliminary sessions spread over the next three days.

Players will start with 50,000 chips, and registration will close at 13 levels. The 1D preliminary round on Friday night will provide the final turbo qualification opportunity, with the qualifiers merging into the second day of the tournament on Saturday noon. The champion will be crowned on Sunday, September 27th.

Players seeking a higher buy-in can participate in the €1,000 High Roller event, which kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Other highlights include the €750 Battle Royale, the €400 Gladiator Bounty, and the €300 MonsterStack.

The event will actually kick off the day before the main event (Tuesday, September 22) with a €250 OPENER Mystery.

Last chance for online qualifiers

Before heading to Aix-les-Bains, there is still an opportunity to qualify for the WPO through online satellite competitions.

The final online satellite tournament will be held on Sunday, September 6th. The €50 qualifying round will begin at 9:15 PM, with at least one entry guaranteed.

This gives players one last chance to lock in their Main Event tickets online, after which the focus will shift to the live events at the end of the month.

Playing poker by day, partying at Winamax by night.

Anyone who has attended a Winamax event knows that the end of the poker tournament doesn't mean the night is over.

The off-site activities will kick off on Tuesday, September 22 at 9 p.m. with "The Big Quiz," which includes blind quizzes, challenges, and a variety of absurd questions.

Wednesday brings the "Marble Race," where players choose their own marble and watch it race on a physical track. Thursday night at 8 pm, the "Beer Pong Open" adds even more competition, while Friday at the same time is taken over by the "Darts Open."

The highlight of Saturday night is "Bongo Loco" at 9 p.m., a bingo game created by Winamax, complete with prizes and the crazy atmosphere that has become a signature of its live events.

There's another event that doesn't require a specific date—"Midnight Déglingos" returns every night at midnight. Ten players, one chip each, engage in fast-paced PLO all-in duels, giving players one last chance to gamble before the night ends.

Fun activities also include cash tables, an early Christmas market, and more surprises throughout the week.

Stay up-to-date with WPO news through Winamax Live

With poker tournaments and off-site events running throughout the event, players can keep all the information in one place through the Winamax Live app.

The app includes a complete schedule of fun events, as well as event registration times and locations. Players can also track real-time reports, chip counts, and event clocks via their mobile phones.

The app is now available on Google Play and the App Store for players to download before the WPO Aix-les-Bains tournament begins on September 22.
