He built his early reputation grinding mid-stakes tournaments in the United States, particularly in Florida and Las Vegas, before successfully transitioning to the high-stakes Asian market. His background in various poker variants, including No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), has allowed him to maintain a consistent presence at major festivals like the WSOP, WPT, and APT.

Punjarojanakul is known for a relentless and adaptable play style, excelling in both standard and fast-paced turbo formats. His success in Single Day High Rollers and Hyper Turbos demonstrates elite ICM awareness and the ability to make high-pressure decisions with varying stack depths. He is particularly dangerous in short-handed and mixed game environments, where his technical proficiency in games like 5-Card PLO allows him to exploit field imbalances and apply maximum pressure at final tables.

According to The Hendon Mob, Tanupat Punjarojanakul has surpassed the $1.3 million milestone in total live tournament earnings. His career-best live cash of $276,466 was recorded in 2024, and he currently ranks 7th on the Thailand All Time Money List. The 2025 season has been a landmark year for Punjarojanakul, highlighted by multiple titles and final table appearances across the globe. In November 2025, he dominated the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Championship Taipei , securing a major victory in the NTD 165,000 Single Day High Roller (Event #26) for NTD 3,007,660 ($98,042). Just days later, he claimed another title at the same festival in the Pot Limit Omaha 5 Card – Win the Button Hyper Turbo (Event #96). Earlier in the year, he proved his versatility by winning his second Seminole Hard Rock Poker (SHRP) trophy in Hollywood, Florida, taking down the $400 Six-Max 5-Card PLO for $7,375. These results, combined with a deep 4th-place run in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Freezeout at the 2025 WSOP for $147,952, significantly contribute to his status as an elite multi-format threat.
