Day 1B saw 1,473 entries, with 84 ultimately securing Day 2 slots.

An anonymous player using the code "NS" accumulated 1,435,000 chips to become the chip leader in the group. Lewis Aikman followed with 1,340,000 chips, while Paul Maguire and Stefan Frew also surpassed the million-chip mark.

Day 1B Leading Player

Day 1C: PM becomes the chip leader.

The third starting group attracted 1,525 participants, making it the second largest flight after Day 1A.

Anonymous player PM accumulated 1,765,000 chips by the end of the day, becoming not only the Day 1C chip leader but also the only player among the four starting groups to surpass 1.7 million chips.

Matthew Nolan finished third overall with 1,375,000 points, while Kieran Collins and Marc Bryant advanced with 1,295,000 and 1,285,000 points respectively.

Day 1D: Vasilica Balan leads by only 10,000 chips

Day 1D saw 1,432 entries. Vasilica Balan ultimately became the chip leader with 1,200,000 chips, but only by a margin of 10,000.

Gabriel Parsons ranked second with 1,190,000, while Sanjay Ranchhoddas advanced with 1,065,000.

Goliath is currently in the Top 10 of the scoreboard.

After completing Day 1D, PM firmly holds the top spot with 1,765,000 chips, leading second-place NS by 330,000.

Currently, players need at least approximately 1.18 million chips to have a chance of entering the top ten of the overall leaderboard.

Five starting groups are still waiting to begin.

The Goliath main event still has five starting groups, Day 1E through Day 1I. The final two days will feature general and fast groups, with all qualifiers meeting on Day 2 on August 1st.

The organizers expect a large number of participants for the final non-rapid start group Day 1H on July 31, and the waiting list may be further lengthened.

A record-breaking year is on the horizon.

The first four starting groups have already attracted 6,174 participants, averaging over 1,500 participants per group. With five more opportunities to compete, Goliath 2026 is poised to rewrite the record once again.

PM has an early lead with 1,765,000 chips, but the current leaderboard could still change significantly as Day 1E through Day 1I progress.
