888poker WSOP Documentary Part 4: The Second Day Was Completely Different

888poker released the fourth installment of its WSOP Main Event documentary, following ambassadors Aaron Barone and Nick Eastwood on Day 2. Eastwood and Saliba were eliminated, while Barone and Navarro advanced to Day 3.

888poker has released the fourth installment of its documentary series on the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. The series begins by following five 888poker ambassadors on their journey to become world poker champions.

Ian Simpson's journey has come to an end in Part 2, leaving Aaron Barone, Nick Eastwood, Lucia Navarro, and Vivian Saliba to take a day off and head into Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event.

Part Four begins with the players taking their seats, ready to start Day Two of the 2026 WSOP Main Event. Barone started Day One with 76,400 chips and is confident as he prepares to increase his chip stack at the start of Day Two.

"Day two was probably the least stressful day of the whole series. Because on day one you really want to get through, and then the pressure gradually increases," Barone explained. "Today felt very relaxed, everyone was still happy to be here, and I knew today was a good opportunity. Taking advantage of that opportunity, trying to build up chips, that's what I'm going to do."

888poker team had a bad start

The photography team located the four card grinders after the first of the five levels on the first day. Everyone had lost chips in the first level, with Eastwood dropping from a starting point of 56,300 to 41,000.

"Things are really bad. Every time I open the pot, I get 3-bet and then have to fold."

Eastwood explained to Barone that his table was soft, but he found himself constantly having to fold. Barone gave his teammate some wise advice.

"You'll naturally get annoyed; you don't know if they actually have a hand. Based on your description of these players, they most likely do, and the situation hasn't really changed. When you go back, you still have 40 big blinds, which is more than enough for you to open the pot and call a 3-bet. You're still in a great position to do whatever you want."

Eastwood and Saliba were eliminated one after another.

Despite taking Barone's advice, Eastwood was eliminated before the next break. In a 9-8-6 hand with two diamonds, Eastwood went all-in with pocket aces. His opponent held pocket 7s with a diamond and hit trips on the turn. The river card gave his opponent an unnecessary full house, ending Eastwood's game.

Saliba was the next 888poker ambassador to leave. The Brazilian player pushed her final 21 big blinds into center with AQ. Unfortunately for Saliba and her many fans, her opponent held a dominant AK. His Big Slick flopped into trips of Kings and formed a full house on the river.

“I did my best. Ultimately, it’s just a poker tournament,” a disappointed Salibba said. “We were eliminated more often than we advanced. This is a tournament with nearly 10,000 participants, this is day two, and this tournament is going to last eight or nine days.”

The four sat down, and two advanced to the third day.

By the end of Day Two, only two 888poker ambassadors had packed up their chips. Barone accumulated an impressive 237,000 chips from his starting 76,400, while Navarro had a volatile day, starting with 128,500 chips and finishing with 94,000.

Navarro is confident she can make a deep run, as she has already advanced to Day 3.

"I will do it. This year, at least I'll make it into the prize money. I will do it, I know!"
