Nick Rigby delivered another stunning performance in the RGPS event, winning two gold rings in a single day, bringing his total to eight this year. He first rose to fame with a "2-3" hand in the WSOP Main Event and continues to achieve remarkable results.
Nick Rigby is no longer just Mr. Dirty Diapers. He's a highly skilled poker player who won two RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) gold rings in a single day on Thursday, an achievement he had just accomplished two months prior.
This Pittsburgh-based poker player, a fan favorite on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) livestream, has been on fire this year. Rigby already has eight RGPS gold rings by 2026, and he almost won another one on Tuesday at the RGPS Harapponpano Beach Passport Series, but suffered a bad beat in heads-up play and lost.
A poker player with a hot hand
Rigby won three RGPS gold rings in 24 hours in March, and this week in Florida, he almost added three more in 48 hours. He finished runner-up in one event but won the other two, both on the same day.
His first victory on Thursday was $400 PokerNews PowerStack TournamentThis was a No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament with 96 entries and a total prize pool of $50,000. Rigby, who defeated Nancy Birnbaum heads-up, became the tournament's biggest winner with $14,743.
That wasn't enough for Mr. Dirty Diapers. After winning the PokerNews event, he participated in... $300 Single-Day NLH Gold Ring TournamentThe player who made a name for himself with the "2-3" hand in the 2021 WSOP Main Event by going deep into the rounds has won another gold ring and a prize of $3,512.
Rigby now boasts 10 RGPS gold rings, plus a WSOP Circuit gold ring he won online in 2024. His live tournament winnings so far this year exceed $200,000, and he recently participated in the $25,000 buy-in National Heads-Up Poker Championship at the PokerGO Studios in Las Vegas, an event that will air later this year on the Peacock channel.
Rigby, who plans to participate in multiple bracelet events this summer, could be a dark horse in the $25,000 WSOP Fantasy Draft, which will be held on May 25 (the day before the start of the 2026 WSOP in Las Vegas).
