Klemens Roiter finally triumphed in his 12th Triton final table attempt, winning the $20K eight-max event and a $771,000 prize. He staged a head-to-head victory against the unstoppable Alejandro Lococo. Roiter had reached the final table 11 times in the Triton Super High Roller series before failing to win. That all came to an end today. The Austrian player is in red-hot form, breaking through in the Triton Jeju II #2:$20K NLH eight-max event to win $771,000, shining brighter than ever. In his victory, Roiter halted the seemingly unstoppable onslaught of Alejandro Lococo. Lococo dominated the final table, eliminating five opponents (including a double kill) to enter the heads-up match with a significant advantage. Lococo, renowned for reaching the WSOP Main Event final table and boasting a $1,200,000 Triton winnings record, was poised to add another trophy to his already illustrious poker career. But Roiter wasn't about to let another Triton final table title slip through his fingers. Facing a significant disadvantage head-to-head, the 17-time Triton winner staged a spectacular comeback, finally securing the prestigious Triton trophy and ending his long wait on his 12th final table attempt. Streamer N3on won the CPT Invitational with no poker experience, taking home $15,000. Just weeks after helping former NBA player Delonte West overcome drug addiction and homelessness, he pulled off a surprising victory. Popular streamer N3on, with absolutely no poker experience, won the Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) Invitational XIII in Las Vegas on Friday night, seemingly riding a wave of "karma." N3on, who rose to fame a few weeks ago for helping a former NBA player struggling with drug addiction and homelessness, emerged victorious in a CPT event featuring over 50 celebrities, winning the championship and $15,000. "I knew nothing," he said. The 19th CPT event, held at the Aria Resort & Casino PokerGO Studios, was primarily comprised of first-time participants and poker novices, including Olympic medalist Caitlyn Jenner and Las Vegas reality TV star Holly Madison. N3on, with 1.15 million YouTube subscribers, was no exception. "I know nothing," N3on told PokerNews in a pre-tournament interview. "They contacted me, and I thought, this is a great opportunity. Come on, let's win some money." The streamer was seated at the live table with Jenner and Madison, along with former NBA guard Nate Robinson, and content creators India Love and Tana Mongeau (both CPT regulars, often seated with newbies). "There are a lot of big names here," N3on said. "A lot of great people, it's going to be a great table. We'll chat, have fun, enjoy the atmosphere. Hopefully, you know, I can win." N3on wasn't bluffing when he said he knew nothing about poker. This was perhaps best illustrated in a wildly successful double-kill hand—he hit his only two outs on the river to form a full house without even realizing it. PokerGO commentator Brent Hanks called it "one of the most bizarre hands we've ever reported on at CPT." The hand, which occurred at the final table, propelled N3on to victory in a game he knew nothing about at the start of the evening. Helping struggling professional athlete Robinson isn't the only former professional basketball player N3on has recently contacted. Last month, N3on filmed a series of videos with Delonte West, a former NBA guard who has struggled for years with homelessness, drug addiction, and mental health issues. "I contacted Delonte, messaged him, and he told me his whole story," N3on said. He worked with the struggling athlete...
