PokerNews, in partnership with BetMGM Poker, is providing live coverage of the 2026 Borgata Summer Poker Open. The series boasts over $4 million in guaranteed prize money, with a highlight event being the $1,000,000 deep-stack opening event.
PokerNews will return to Atlantic City this summer as part of an exciting new partnership with BetMGM Poker to provide live coverage of the 2026 Borgata Summer Poker Open, sponsored by BetMGM Poker.
The series will be held from July 16 to 31 at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa – one of the East Coast’s premier poker destinations. The tournament includes No-Limit Texas Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and mixed games tournaments, with a total guaranteed prize pool of over $4 million.
As part of the partnership, PokerNews will provide live coverage of six key events in the series, including chip counts, hand updates, photos, and champion interviews.

PokerNews will be providing live coverage of the following events:
$600 Deep Stack Opening Event (Guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000)

Million-dollar high-profile event

The series kicks off with a $600 deep-stack opening event, guaranteeing a prize of $1,000,000. There are six starting groups, and players will return later to determine the champion.
Another key event is the $500 Borgata Almighty Stack, with a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000, which also features six starting groups.
The series culminates in the $2,700 Summer Poker Open, the core event of the entire tournament. This tournament features three starting groups, with the surviving players competing for three more days to claim a share of the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool and the coveted championship title.
In other events, Omaha Specialists can participate in the $650 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, while the $650 Super Deepstack 6-Max event guarantees fast-paced, intense matches. The popular Monster Mirror event will return later in the series, with the mystery bounty available on Day 2.
The poker action won't stop after the tournament. Throughout the series, Borgata will also host several featured cash game live streams, including PLO Live, Raf's Game, Borgata Big Game, and a Signature $2/$5 No-Limit Hold'em cash game, giving poker fans more opportunities to follow the event from Atlantic City.
