The Diamond Poker Series will be held from September 15th to 22nd at Bombay Club, featuring an 8-day Pot-Limit Omaha tournament with a total guaranteed prize pool of €2.5 million, headlined by two flagship events each with a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million. With the series about to begin, several familiar faces from the PLO high-stakes scene have confirmed their return, including former PLO Grand Slam champions Tom-Aksel Bedell and Imad Derwiche, and 2019 WSOP Main Event champion Hossein Ensan, who is still chasing his first Grand Slam title. The 8-day, €2.5 million guaranteed prize pool, headlined by two flagship events each with a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million, will be held at Bombay Club from September 15th to 22nd. The entire series has a guaranteed minimum prize pool of €2,500,000. The two core events are: €5,200 5k Million (September 17-20), €1,000,000 PLO Championship (September 20-22), and €1,000,000 PLO Championship (September 20-22). These two events will form the main competitive axis of this Tallinn event. Tom-Aksel Bedell aims for his second PLO Grand Slam title. Norwegian star Tom-Aksel Bedell is no stranger to the PLO Grand Slam. In January 2025, he earned a €10,000 Championship spot through freeroll at the Tirana event, ultimately defeating a field of 191 players and winning the €438,000 champion prize in the Heads-Up. Bedell described that Tirana trip as his favorite event to date. Now returning to the PLO Grand Slam, his goal is clear: to win his second series title. Imad Derwiche returns to Tallinn, the venue of his 2025 victory. Derwiche holds special memories for Tallinn. In April 2025, he achieved a major breakthrough at Bombay Club, emerging victorious from a field of 148 players in the €10,300 PLO Championship. Derwiche attributes that victory to two factors: discipline and luck. He believes that when both are present, any player becomes extremely difficult to defeat.
