The Lodge Card Club Raided by Authorities

The Lodge Card Club, Texas's largest poker room, was recently raided by law enforcement in connection with allegations of money laundering and illegal gambling. Until the investigation results are released, the poker community should perhaps remain rational and patient.

Lose another poker room on the Las Vegas Strip

Regional news

The poker landscape on the Las Vegas Strip is shrinking once again. Resorts World announced that its poker room will officially close on March 29, 2026, becoming the second poker room on the Las Vegas Strip to cease operations this year. The room had 29 tables since opening in 2021 and had hosted the PokerStars NAPT series. However, with Las Vegas tourism declining by more than 81 TP3T in 2025, the poker market has also been affected. Nevertheless, major events such as the WSOP and Wynn Millions continue to attract a large number of players, indicating that the Las Vegas poker ecosystem remains vibrant.
