2026 CPG Sanya Grand Finals | Luo Jiajin leads the final table with 19.3 million RMB, Chen Wenwen becomes the last female player to compete for the championship.
Regional newsOn August 27th, the 2026 CPG Sanya Grand Finals entered its penultimate day, with the Main Event reaching its most crucial stage before the final table was set. The 52 players who fought their way through 3,972 entries returned to the tables, all with one goal – to secure the final nine Final Table seats. After several rounds of intense competition, the nine-player final table was officially formed, with Luo Jiajin leading the pack with 19,300,000 chips. Wang Zexuan ranked second with 17,900,000, and Chen Wenwen came in third with 16,800,000. Chen Wenwen was also the only female player among the final nine, becoming the Last Woman Standing after eliminating Shen Rongrong in the fourth round, and will continue her pursuit of the championship trophy on the final day. 52 players vying for nine seats, the fourth round of the Main Event officially began at 12:00 noon on August 27th, with the 52 finalists facing just one final hurdle to reach the final table. At Level 28, the blinds reached 50,000/100,000/100,000. The UTG player raised to 200,000, and Ji Xiaqing 3-bet to 550,000 from the MP position, leaving her with only 25,000 chips. Facing a subsequent 4-bet all-in from UTG, Ji Xiaqing had no choice but to call. Ji Xiaqing held A♥Q♦, while her opponent held A♦K♦. The board ran out 6♠10♠8♦3♥8♠, and Ji Xiaqing failed to complete the comeback, ending her round first. Shen Rongrong was eliminated, and Chen Wenwen became the Last Woman Standing. At Level 32, with blinds at 125,000/250,000/250,000, only two female players remained. Shen Rongrong shoved all-in from the HJ position with approximately 2.5 million chips, and the player in the BB position called. Shen Rongrong held A♠Q♠, while her opponent held 8♠8♣. The flop came A♥7♠8♥, giving Shen Rongrong top pair, but her opponent simultaneously hit a set with pocket eights. The turn 10♥ didn't change the outcome, and the river Q♣, while giving Shen Rongrong two pair, wasn't enough to beat her opponent's trips. After this hand, she had only about two big blinds left. Entering level 33, Shen Rongrong went all-in with A♠6♣ with her last 600,000 chips, and Chen Wenwen called with Q♥Q♦. The board ran out 10♦5♠J♦K♥10♣, and Chen Wenwen's pocket queens maintained the lead, eliminating Shen Rongrong. With this, Chen Wenwen officially became the last female player still active in the CPG Sanya Main Event. Wang Zhong eliminated two players in one hand, while former champion Yu Jizheng was eliminated in 19th place, also at level 33. Former "Dragon King" Yu Jizheng went all-in for 2.1 million from the UTG position with K♥K♣, while Wang Zhong went all-in for 3.4 million from the CO position with J♥J♦. Hao Mengyu from the BB position invested the final 375,000 with 10♠9♦. The community cards were A♦7♦3♠J♠9♠, and Wang Zhong hit a J on the turn to complete his set, eliminating two opponents in one hand. Yu Jizheng ultimately finished the Main Event in 19th place. Liu Zhao was eliminated in 11th place, leaving the final 10 players at the same table.
