Complete dominance! In the first seven events of the 2026 U.S. Poker Open, the Foxen couple, along with the Andrews and Wilson couples, swept five championships and contributed a total of 12 prize money records, demonstrating astonishing dominance.
In the 2026 U.S. Poker Open, two poker couples combined for five titles across seven events.
The PGT series, held at the PokerGO Studios in Las Vegas and running until April 22, has already witnessed dominant performances from two couples. Before Monday, Alex Foxen, Kristen Foxen, Brock Wilson, and Cherish Andrews had teamed up to win five of the seven events already completed.
Alex Foxen won his latest event – $15,000 No-Limit Hold'em – earning $210,000, his 13th PGT title, tying Sam Soverel's record.
A couple won three championships.
Kristen Foxen won the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em event a few days ago, taking home $198,000. The Foxen couple has now secured two titles in the first seven events of this year's biggest high-stakes poker series in Las Vegas.
However, despite the strong performance of the Foxen couple, the Andrews and Wilson couple had an even more impressive showing at the USPO. Wilson won the opening event, Event #1: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, taking home $120,900. Andrews then added a second title for the couple in Event #3: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, winning $143,750.
But that's not all. Wilson also holds two other prize records at the U.S. Poker Open, and he won his second title in the #6:$10,000 No-Limit Hold'em event, defeating Nick Schulman heads-up to take home the $224,000 prize.
These two poker couples contributed a total of 12 winning records in the first seven events. This is the best interpretation of the word "dominance".
PokerNews will provide live coverage of the 2026 U.S. Poker Open from start to finish, including the final table of the #8:$15,000 No-Limit Hold'em event on Monday. Poker fans can also watch the final table live on PokerGO and the PokerGO YouTube channel.
